Stardust by Neil Gaimen

A lot of my early reading experiences were reading fantasy novel from Dragon Lance and The Forgotten Realms. After discussing Neil Gaiman briefly with the young lady who cuts my hair and having read the Sandman comics, I figured I would give his novels a shot, being that Sandman is rooted fantasy and after hearing Stardust is a fairy tale for adults. I read Stardust quickly and I did enjoy it a lot, but it didn’t leave an impression the way I had hoped. Coming from reading The Sandman I guess I was expecting something a little darker. But don’t take this a negative, it was a fun read and I’m going to read more of his work, Neverwhere or American Gods is next. I haven’t decided which yet.
